Court cancels arrest warrants of actress Nazesh Jahangir in trust breach case
The court ordered the actress to submit a bond of Rs 50,000, and further proceedings of the case were adjourned till April 28.
A Lahore court on Thursday canceled the arrest warrants of actress Nazish Jahangir in a case related to breach of trust and ordered her to submit a bond of Rs 50,000. Later, after hearing the arguments of the lawyers, the court ordered the cancellation of the arrest warrant of actress Nazish Jahangir against a bond of Rs 50,000. The court adjourned the hearing till April 28. The prosecution has been filed by actor Haroon Aswad in kent court. It may be recalled that the Judicial Magistrate of Lahore had issued arrest warrants for famous actress Nazish Jahangir on charges of betrayal, fraud, and threats to the trust.
The court had also ordered the police to arrest the actress and produce her before the court on March 22. A case of fraud, breach of trust and threats was filed against actress Nazish Jahangir and his associate Sikandar Khan by a man named Aswad Haroon in Defense C Police Station. According to police officials, the case was registered under sections of fraud, and action was taken against Nazish Jahangir, Sikandar Khan, and other accused in the prosecution.
The plaintiff case had submitted an arrest warrant to the Defense Sea Police. The court has directed the Defence Sea Police to arrest and produce the actress. Police also said that action has been initiated against the accused. The plaintiff had alleged that the actress had grabbed millions of rupees and valuable vehicles from him on the pretext of providing opportunities in the showbiz industry.”I was called to a farmhouse where armed men tortured me and threatened me with dire consequences for demanding the return of my money and vehicle. The prosecution filed in the case of alleged fraud on actor Nazesh Jahangir said that actress Nazesh Jahangir had taken 25 lakhs and a car for two months. Later, Jahangir did not return Rs 2.5 million and the car.
