The 22-year-old opener has been selected in the emerging category

Young opener Hasan Nawaz, who played a blistering record century against New Zealand, will represent Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). In the PSL drafts, the young opener was made part of their squad in the Players Drafts by Quetta gladiators, the former champions of the Pakistan Super League. The franchise selected the young opener in the emerging category, who will represent the Gladiators in the 2025 edition.

Earlier, Hasan Nawaz represented Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023, but he could get only three matches where he failed to show his talent, the young opener scored 28 runs in 3 matches at a strike rate of 100 and an average of 9.33. It should be noted that Hasan Nawaz made the record for the fastest T20 century for Pakistan in his third T20 match against New Zealand, earlier this feat was held by Babar Azam, who scored a century off 49 balls against South Africa in 2021. However, Hasan Nawaz achieved this feat in just 44 balls against the Kiwis, his innings included 10 fours and 7 sixes.
