Pakistan Railways has reduced the fares of passenger trains by 20 percent on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. According to railway officials, the reduction in fares will be applicable to all mail, express and inter-city passenger trains, the reduction in fares will be applicable on bookings on all three days of Eid so that passengers can travel at cheaper fares on the occasion of Eid. However, the reduction in fares will not be applicable to Eid special trains. In addition, Pakistan Railways has announced to run five special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Pakistan Railway Headquarters has also issued instructions to all DS officers regarding Eid train arrangements, under the schedule, the first special train will leave Karachi to Lahore on March 26, the second train will run from Quetta to Peshawar on March 26, as well as the third train from Lahore to Lahore. The fourth train will run from Karachi to Rawalpindi via Faisalabad Sargodha on March 27 and the fifth special train will run from Karachi to Lahore via Faisalabad, Sheikhupura.
It is being said that there is less time left for the arrival of Eid-ul-Fitr all over the world, including Pakistan, a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held on March 30 to see the Shawwal moon in Pakistan, the Meteorological Department has predicted not only the possible date of Eid-ul-Fitr but also the birth of the Shawwal moon. The birth will take place on March 29 at 3:58 pm. The spokesman said that on March 30 and 29, there will be a meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, then the age of the moon will be 27 hours at the time of the meeting, due to which the moon of the month of Shawwal will be easily seen, there is a difference of about one hour between sunset and sunset, the moon will be seen for one hour, i.e. the moon is expected to be seen on March 30. The final announcement will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
