Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz congratulated the nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day and paid tribute to the struggle of the founders of Pakistan and the sacrifices of the martyrs. The Chief Minister said that March 23 reminds us of the golden aims and objectives of the establishment of Pakistan, by the grace of Allah Almighty, Pakistan was established and will remain happy till the Day of Judgment. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that on Pakistan Day, the commitment to the demands of sanctity and security of the land should be reiterated and the golden principles of unity, faith, and discipline should also be repeated and remembered on Pakistan Day. The Chief Minister said that Pakistan is a blessing given by Allah Almighty to all of us. He said that on Pakistan Day, we pledge to reduce poverty, and inequality and protect the weaker sections of the society. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan Day reminds us of the beginning of the vigorous struggle for the attainment of Pakistan, today we pledge to use all our capabilities to include the countrymen in the ranks of developed countries and take Punjab to the heights according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam and other founders of Pakistan. Maryam Nawaz Sharif further said that on Pakistan Day, we pledge to make Punjab the engine of Pakistan’s economy and the center of development, including innovation in education, health, and agriculture.
