Punjab Food Authority encourages food points, hotels and restaurants to plant trees to avoid environmental degradation
The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has started encouraging food points, hotels, and restaurants to plant trees to avoid environmental degradation. According to a spokesman of The Punjab Food Authority, the Punjab Food Authority has started tree plantation in full swing under the auspices of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision ‘Plant for Pakistan’ along with the Punjab Food Authority government. The authority planted 10 saplings in Rawalpindi, 20 in Murree, 10 in Attock, 10 in Chakwal, and 20 in Jhelum. The spokesman said that the Punjab Food Authority has also issued instructions to all food points, hotels and restaurants to plant saplings. In the Rawalpindi division, field teams also planted saplings around food points and restaurants. A spokesman of the Punjab Food Authority said that trees are the only way to clean the air cover spread around our land. Trees are not only the beauty of our earth, but they are also a symbol of life on the planet. In the Plant for Pakistan campaign, every citizen should perform his national duty by planting a sapling. If the country becomes green, the environment of Pakistan will be better.
