National T20 Cup 2019: Peshawar, Lahore Blues enter semi-finals
National T20 Cup, Peshawar, and Lahore Blues teams reached the semi-finals. Lahore defeated Sialkot by 33 runs in the fourth quarter-final played at Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad. Earlier in the third quarter-final, Peshawar defeated Faisalabad by 3 wickets. In the fourth quarter-final, Sialkot won the toss and batted for Lahore, who were dismissed for 184 runs in 20 overs. Umar Siddique scored 65 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 fours. Hasan Ali took 4 wickets for 42 runs. Usama Mir dismissed two players. Sialkot was bowled out for 151 runs in the 19th over. Mirza Tahir Baig scored 77 runs with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes. Hasan Ali scored 25 runs with the help of three sixes and a four. Hussain Talat. Nisar Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan took two wickets each. Umar Siddique was named player of the match. In the third quarter-final, Faisalabad won the toss and batted first and scored 138 runs for 7 wickets. Ali Shan scored 51 runs. Amir Khan took 3 wickets for 25 runs. Peshawar completed the required score at the loss of 7 wickets in the last over. Israrullah was the top scorer with 30 runs. Ahmed Safi Abdullah took 3 wickets for 20 runs. Mohammad Amir Khan was adjudged as the player of the match. Peshawar will face Abbottabad in the semi-finals while the second semi-final will be played between Lahore Blues and Multan. Both semi-finals will be played at The Iqbal Stadium on Wednesday.
