In the United Arab Emirates, the government has officially declared Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. According to Emirati media, the United Arab Emirates has announced the dates of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for public sector employees across the country, in this regard, the Federal Authority for Public Human Resources said that Eid-ul-Fitr holidays in the country will start from 1 Shawwal to 3 Shawwal 1446 HIJRI. It has been reported that the sighting of the moon in the United Arab Emirates will be on March 29, if the moon is seen or not, the duration of the Islamic month of Ramadan will be 29 or 30 days, after which Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the 1st Shawwal, which is at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

There will be Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for government employees till April, but as a result, it will become a four-day holiday from March 29 to April 1, as Saturday is included in the weekend for most employees across the country. Meanwhile, if the moon is not sighted on March 29 and Ramadan continues for 30 days, then the first day of Shawwal will come on Monday, March 31, in which case there will be Eid holidays from March 31 to April 2, in which case residents will get a five-day long weekend which will be from March 29 to April 2, if the holy month of Ramadan completes 30 days. Then 30th of Ramadan will be a public holiday included in the holidays of Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday, March 30.
